About Me
My Background
When I was in preschool, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded. When I moved to Canada, I finally took art classes and started painting regularly.
My Medium
I use many different mediums, such as watercolor, oil, acrylics, alcohol ink, encaustic, clay and pastels etc.
l believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
My Inspiration
I enjoy hiking, gardening and many of my pieces are directly influenced by this.
I love utilizing plants, skies, trees, and wildlife in my work.
My distinctive style is strong, confident brush strokes, fluid backgrounds and spontaneous ideas that brings various subjects to life with vibrant colors. Whether impressionistic, expressive or abstract, a confident brush stroke, the swipe of an oil pastel or color pencil helps build personality into every one of my works.
